Sainik School Chhingchhip Announces New Teaching and Staff Vacancies for 2026

Aizawl: Sainik School Chhingchhip in Mizoram has opened recruitment for several teaching and non-teaching positions for the 2026 academic year. The school is seeking candidates for roles including a TGT Social Science teacher, three General Employee positions, a Counsellor, and a PEM/PTI-cum-Matron.

The TGT Social Science role is a regular position offering Level 7 pay. Applicants must be under 35 years old and hold a four-year integrated degree or a bachelor's degree with B.Ed qualifications, along with a pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test. Proficiency in both English and Hindi is required for this role.

For those interested in the General Employee positions, candidates must have passed Class X. The role requires versatility, as the school notes that employees should have a: "Knowledge of all types of general work including gardener, cook, housekeeping, maintenance, cleaning, sweeping, mason, plumber, electrician, carpenter etc." These roles carry a Level 1 pay scale and are open to individuals between 18 and 50 years old.

The Counsellor and PEM/PTI-cum-Matron positions are contractual, each offering a consolidated pay of Rs 71,840. Candidates for these roles must be between 21 and 35 years old and possess the relevant academic or professional certifications in psychology or physical education.

Applications must include self-attested copies of all testimonials, a passport-sized photo, and a non-refundable bank draft of Rs 500. Note that SC and ST candidates are exempt from this fee.
