Guwahati: A family crisis has emerged in Assam's Nagaon district after two married individuals reportedly eloped, leaving six children behind in the process. Families involved in the incident have approached local authorities to seek help in locating the pair.

Dildar Hussain, who resides in the Rupahi area, allegedly abandoned his wife and three children to run off with the wife of Imradul Hussain. Imradul Hussain lives in Purba Kawaimari, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Kampur Police Station. His wife also left behind three children when she departed.

The abandoned spouses have now turned to the authorities for support. Both parties filed separate complaints at the Rupahi Police Station to initiate a search for their missing partners. One relative noted the distress caused by the situation, stating, "Family members expressed concern over the welfare of the children and the difficulties they now face."

Local residents report that both households are struggling to adapt to their new circumstances. The investigation remains active as the police review the details provided in the formal complaints.
