Police Investigate Discovery of Unidentified Body in Nagaon Playground

Guwahati: Police in Assam's Nagaon district are investigating the death of an unidentified youth whose body was discovered at a playground in Juria on June 5. Local residents alerted authorities after finding the body lying on the field, prompting a response from the Juria Police Station.

While investigators have yet to determine the cause of death, members of the community have expressed concerns regarding the circumstances of the find. Some locals suspect the victim was killed in a different location before being left at the site by unknown individuals.

Law enforcement officials have recovered the remains and sent them for a post-mortem examination.
