Imphal: The People's Liberation Army marked its 48th raising day today. Units and stations across Manipur observed the anniversary with organized events. Roben Khuman, deputy secretary of publicity for the Revolutionary People's Front, confirmed the state-wide commemorations.
RPF members hoisted flags and displayed stars at various divisions under the Central Bureau. They also hung festoons at party locations. The main event honored individuals who sacrificed their lives for the cause of the land. RPF president Y. M. Ngouba led the solemn tribute.
Ngouba sent a public message to all residents. He urged groups operating within Manipur to set aside differences. "Call upon all groups operating in Manipur to unite and work collectively for the people," the RPF statement declared. The message demanded commitment to protecting the local identity. The leadership aims to build a peaceful and prosperous future for the region.
