NPF Leadership Meets in Kohima to Address Political Issues and Disaster Relief

Kohima: Naga People’s Front (NPF) leaders gathered in Kohima on Wednesday for a high-level consultative meeting at the party central office. Chief Minister and NPF president Dr. Neiphiu Rio led the session, joined by senior party officials and legislators. Secretary general and advisor Achumbemo Kikon chaired the proceedings.

Rio pushed the party to speed up work on the Naga political issue. He demanded progress on development projects across the state. The party must stay proactive. Rio urged the membership to remain united to protect the interests of the people. He stated that "collective effort was essential to safeguard the interests of the people and achieve lasting peace and progress."

The meeting also addressed the toll of recent natural disasters in Nagaland. These events destroyed property, claimed lives, and wrecked livelihoods. The NPF pledged to provide full support for relief and restoration tasks. Party leaders focused on boosting coordination, fixing grassroots connections, and building a roadmap for the future. The NPF reaffirmed its goal to prioritize public service and community welfare.
