NITI Nagaland Celebrates 26 Years of Education and Innovation

Kohima: NITI Nagaland celebrated its 26th anniversary on June 18, marking a transition from its origins as the NIIT Dimapur Centre into a comprehensive hub for education and entrepreneurship. Over the past two and a half decades, the institution has helped thousands of students pursue careers as engineers, IT professionals, and government officers across the globe.

The organization now operates through three primary pillars: the NITI Academy for NEET and JEE coaching, NITI Technologies for digital solutions, and the NITI Incubation Center for startup development. To bolster its academic offerings, the institution has recruited eight IIT alumni to teach physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics, significantly strengthening its STEM curriculum.

Managing Director Ajay Sethi described the milestone as a celebration of success for the many lives the institution has supported over the years. He noted that the school's founding goal of bringing technology education to Nagaland has grown into a wider mission covering competitive exams and business innovation.

Chief Executive Officer Er Rishav Sethi emphasized that the institution's future depends on merging school academics with professional skills. He believes local students have the talent to succeed on a global stage if provided with the correct guidance. Regarding the institution's impact, he stated, "The 26th Annual Day was a celebration of lives touched, careers created and dreams supported."

Moving forward, NITI Nagaland plans to focus on expanding its digital skills training and support for young entrepreneurs. By fostering innovation, the organization aims to turn Nagaland into a prominent regional destination for technology and professional development.
