Shillong: The North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences in Shillong is hiring. Officials seek 55 Senior Residents for various medical departments.
Vacancies span 24 disciplines. The hospital needs nine doctors for Anaesthesiology, seven for General Medicine, and four for both Radiodiagnosis and General Surgery. Other spots are open in Cardiology, Neurosurgery, and several surgical sub-specialties.
Applicants must hold a postgraduate degree or diploma recognized by the Medical Council of India. You need to provide proof of completed internship and state medical registration. The institute stated, "Candidates having experience in the respective discipline/subject will be preferred."
The base pay hits Level 11 of the Pay Matrix. This starts at Rs 67,700 per month. You also receive non-practicing allowances and standard government benefits. You must be 45 or younger to apply.
