Speed matters here. The Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department mandates that all SIT requests get priority treatment. Departments must hand over accurate records within strict time frames. The government warned that any foot-dragging or incomplete paperwork will face serious consequences. "Any delay, non-compliance or incomplete submission could adversely affect the investigation process and would be viewed seriously," the circular stated.
Drawing and Disbursing Officers and establishment chiefs now lead the effort. They must gather, verify, and transmit all files to the investigators. Heads of Departments bear personal responsibility for ensuring these rules stick. The state demands total integrity and confidentiality for every document handed to the investigators throughout this probe.
