Kohima: The Directorate of School Education in Nagaland recently held its Nagaland Government School Students’ Meritorious Award (NGSSMA) ceremony in Kohima to honor academic excellence. The event, hosted at the Morung Conference Hall, recognized students who excelled in the 2026 HSLC and HSSLC examinations alongside 22 government schools that achieved a perfect 100 percent pass rate.

Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, Advisor for School Education and SCERT, attended the service as a special guest.
