Kohima: Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Dr. N Moa, a distinguished physician celebrated for his lifetime of service and medical care. In a formal condolence message released on June 19, the Chief Minister highlighted the doctor's profound humility and unwavering faith throughout his career.
The Chief Minister shared a personal connection to the late doctor, noting that Dr. Moa served as his own father's personal physician and remained a trusted friend to the family for many years. Reflecting on this history, Rio stated, "He was well known to me and was my late father's personal doctor and a good friend. The bond that our family shared with him and the care and kindness shown to my father will always be remembered."
Describing him as a man of deep compassion and selflessness, the Chief Minister emphasized that Dr. Moa lived a life defined by a clear sense of purpose. He added that the Ao community and the Naga people have lost a significant father figure. On behalf of his family, the Chief Minister offered prayers for the bereaved, asking for strength and solace as the community honors a legacy built on wisdom, kindness, and healing.
