Nagaland and Asian Development Bank Review Sustainable Land Projects

Kohima: Advisor for Land Resources Ikuto Zhimomi hosted a consultative session with Asian Development Bank consultants in Kohima on June 16. The meeting served to evaluate current land initiatives and technical assessments while focusing on methods to improve climate-resilient agriculture and sustainable land management across Nagaland.

During the discussion, Zhimomi highlighted the necessity of collaborative efforts to reach project goals. He stressed the importance of teamwork and clear communication, noting the Department's commitment to participatory planning. Zhimomi stated, "He emphasised the need for close coordination among stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of project outcomes."

The bank representatives presented detailed outlines regarding future project timelines, capacity-building strategies, and upcoming interventions. Both parties pledged to maintain consistent communication to ensure the initiatives are rolled out effectively.
