Naga Group Demands Border Security as Crisis Grips Manipur

Imphal: The Tangkhul Aze Katamnao Long (TAKL) is demanding immediate government intervention to protect Naga residents living along the Manipur border. TAKL president Yarchuiso Kashung spoke at the Manipur Press Club today to address the mounting danger. Border security is failing. He warned that the ongoing insecurity might push desperate locals to seek help from neighboring nations, specifically naming China.

Kashung blasted Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand for his handling of the crisis. He claimed the administration is actively destabilizing the state. The group argues that the Chief Minister is wasting time on useless trips instead of fixing the violence. Innocent people continue to suffer every day.

The TAKL president issued a sharp ultimatum regarding the current leadership. "If the Chief Minister was unable to protect the state and its people, he should resign voluntarily." Kashung insisted that the government stop its current failed approach and take concrete, immediate steps to restore order before the situation collapses further.
