Kohima: A two-day workshop centered on videography, video editing, and social media marketing concluded this Wednesday at the Deputy Commissioner's Office in Mokokchung. Organized by the SANKALP District Hub for Empowerment of Women and the local District Administration, the event aimed to sharpen digital storytelling and content creation skills.
During the opening session, Additional Deputy Commissioner Atsüngba Walling encouraged attendees to claim their space in the digital world. He praised the initiative for its commitment to skill development among women and youth. District Mission Coordinator Moamenla Longkumer welcomed the participants to the event, which ran from June 16 to 17.
Professional photographer and videographer Tsüngchilong led the technical training, guiding participants through filming techniques and production workflows. The sessions combined practical demonstrations with lessons on how to effectively use social media platforms for outreach.
Dr. Limasenla Jamir focused on marketing strategies, teaching participants how to build audience trust through transparent engagement. She identified three core pillars for successful digital promotion, noting that participants must utilize the "hook, value and call to action" to grow their brand presence. This program aligns with the administration's ongoing mission to foster digital literacy and economic empowerment across the region.
