Shillong: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma visited the Telangana Integrated Command and Control Centre in Hyderabad on Thursday. He wants to bring its tech-focused governance model back home. The facility tracks city operations through data analytics and digital tools. It forces different government departments to work as one unit.

Sangma praised the setup after seeing the operation firsthand. He called it a benchmark for states aiming to fix public service delivery. He noted, "Impressed by the systems and seamless coordination at the Telangana Integrated Command & Control Centre in Hyderabad." The center proves that data and teamwork create faster, more responsive results for citizens.

Meghalaya will now study the facility's specific operational structures. The goal is to identify which parts fit the state's own administrative needs. Sangma expects these changes to speed up decision-making across his government. The shift represents a push to trade old methods for modern, digital systems.
