Madan Sports and Cultural Club Elects New Leadership

Shillong: The Madan Sports and Cultural Club finalized its leadership lineup during a recent general meeting. The new board will steer the organization through the 2026-28 term. They hit the ground running with a full slate of officers.

RG Marbaniang takes over as president. Alvin Shullai serves as vice president. Adrian J Kharshiing steps in as general secretary, working alongside assistant secretary Albert M Shullai and treasurer Herbert Kharsyntiew. The club also appointed Stewart Nongkynrih as sports secretary, supported by assistants Balajied Nongkynrih and Ivan Ricky Lyngdoh.

Maxwell Nongdhar will handle football matters, aided by assistant Shanskhem L Nongpiur. Pynshai Chynret takes the role of organizing secretary. Rounding out the primary roster, Paleisha Nongkynrih will manage cultural affairs with assistant Suman Nongdhar. Damanbha Marbaniang rounds out the team as the publicity secretary. The group includes various additional executive members tasked with guiding club activities for the next two years.
