Lamgrace Dance Studio Launches Summer Camp in Kohima

Kohima: Nagaland State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities Tongpang L Jamir opened a new summer dance camp in Kohima this week. The event marked the fourth anniversary of the Lamgrace Dance and Fitness Studio. It was a busy day. Jamir told the crowd that dance is a powerful medium for personal growth and holistic development, as it nurtures self-confidence, discipline, creativity and emotional well-being.

He pushed the students to sharpen their skills and make new friends during the summer program. The studio provides a vital platform for local youth. It helps them find their passion while building strong character. Dance is not just entertainment. It builds physical fitness and teaches kids how to work as a team.

Studio founder Lamgrace handled the welcome duties while instructor Priya Baraily ran the show. Students performed several routines and cultural pieces to kick off the camp. Fitness instructor Shangjiu ended the session by promising the studio will keep pushing fitness and creativity for young people across the state.
