Kuzholuzo Nienu Inaugurates New Community Cemetery in Phek Village

Kohima: Advisor for Science and Technology Kuzholuzo Nienu inaugurated the Phek Village Community Cemetery at Kalozi on June 12. The project serves as a significant milestone for the area, fulfilling a long-standing goal for local residents.

During the ceremony, Nienu emphasized the importance of the facility, noting that its completion was made possible through the unity and collective efforts of the community. He encouraged villagers to remain committed to the proper upkeep and maintenance of the site.

Phek Village Council chairman Thupuve Vero praised Nienu for his ongoing dedication to village development and his support for the underprivileged. The program also included a financial report delivered by Veta Soho and a dedicatory prayer offered by Rev. Vesito Venuh, the pastor of Phek Village Baptist Church. The event was chaired by Veshe Chizo.
