Kohima: Kohima Police apprehended three high-ranking members of the NNC/FGN (NA) on Thursday after intercepting their vehicle in the state capital. Acting on intelligence regarding cadre movement from Dimapur toward Kohima, a Special Operations Team tracked the suspects to the New Secretariat area.
Authorities identified the detainees as President Senlo Khing, Kilo Kilonser Kitoho H Zhimomi, and Finance Kilonser Tovito Kiba. During the search, officers recovered two .32 calibre country-made pistols, a .22 calibre pistol, sixteen live rounds, and over 48,000 rupees in cash. The police also seized a Mahindra Scorpio and several mobile phones.
A formal case has been filed at the North Police Station. Investigators are now working to determine the group's network and broader motives behind the movement. Officials continue to emphasize their dedication to public security while encouraging residents to report suspicious activity.
