Imphal: The Kangleipak Communist Party released the third volume of its journal, Lanthengminnasi Eikhoi. Media Coordinator A. Luwangba announced the publication through a press release sent to media houses today. The new edition packs 11 articles and essays into its pages.
It covers history, politics, and ideology. The editorial, titled "October 18, 1948: Ahanba Manipur Gi Assembly Meepham Amasung Lamyanba Irabot," anchors the collection. Writers explore Marxism, the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, and the ongoing social unrest in Manipur since May 3, 2023.
The journal tracks regional shifts. It examines how India's language policy affects Manipuri, the status of indigenous groups across the Northeast, and the viability of socialist thought against capitalist imperialism. The party distributed digital copies alongside the print release to ensure wide circulation.
