A magisterial inquiry finished months ago, but the government sat on the findings. No officials faced consequences for the stalled case. The victim's family still has not received promised compensation or state support.
The union described the ongoing delay as a total failure of justice. They labeled the initial killing as a “gruesome” crime that authorities ignored. The GSU now demands the immediate release of the initial Action Taken Report. They want officials held accountable for their negligence and a new team to finally close the file.
