Eastern Naga Students’ Federation Announces Emergency Assembly for June 26

Kohima: The Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) has scheduled its 27th Emergency Federal Assembly for June 26, 2026. The meeting will take place in Bura Namsang Village, starting at 10 am, under the host responsibilities of the Phom Students’ Conference.

Leadership called the assembly to address pressing matters regarding public welfare, education, and youth development across Eastern Nagaland. According to the organization, the gathering serves as a forum "for wisdom, unity and prudent resolve" intended to foster collective solutions for the region. The federation reaffirmed that it remains "steadfast in its charge to uphold justice, progress and harmony."

ENSF has mandated attendance for all Advisory Board members and requested the participation of presidents, general secretaries, and chairs from all federating units. The federation also invited three representatives each from the Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation and the Eastern Nagaland Women Organisation to join the discussions.

Delegates and officials must arrive in Bura Namsang Village by 2 pm on June 25. The Bura Namsang Students’ Union is managing the necessary logistical arrangements for hosting the incoming participants.
