Dubai Worker Warns Arunachal Youth Against Fake Job Scams

Itanagar: A woman from Dirang Circle, West Kameng district, is sounding the alarm on overseas job scams. Kesang, currently employed in Dubai, released a video warning youths to ignore unverified employment offers pushed on Facebook and Instagram. She specifically called out an individual named Sherab for posting videos and photos of alleged placements to lure unsuspecting job seekers.

Kesang claims these social media posts create a false sense of security for people looking for work abroad. She warns that trusting verbal promises or digital advertisements can lead to massive financial losses and personal hardship. "Verify before you fly to Dubai," she said in her message.

Aspirants need to check employment contracts, visa documents, and recruitment procedures through official channels. Before spending savings or packing bags, workers must demand transparency. Families should also stay alert to keep young applicants from falling into traps set by predatory recruiters. As of now, these allegations remain unverified, and Sherab could not be reached for comment.
