Nongkseh Residents Plan Cemetery Cleanup as Veterinary Group Marks Jubilee

Shillong: Nongkseh residents will hit the dirt this Saturday. The Dorbar Shnong Nongkseh scheduled an annual cemetery cleaning drive starting at 8 am. The cleanup covers all church cemeteries within the jurisdiction, specifically targeting Blocks 3 and 9. It is time to work.

Rangbah Shnong M. Thangkhiew asked locals to show up for their buried relatives. He wants the community to participate as a sign of respect for the departed. The leader also pushed for full public cooperation to keep the event moving efficiently. Everyone must pitch in.

Later that day, the All Meghalaya Veterinary Students’ Association kicks off its golden jubilee celebration. The event starts at 1 pm at the Basic Agricultural Training Centre in Upper Shillong. The association has invited Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Minister Sanbor Shullai to attend the programme as the chief guest. He will address the crowd at the conference hall.
