Kohima: The National Career Service Centre for Differently Abled (NCSCDA) teamed up with Vishal Mega Mart to host a specialized recruitment event on June 12. Held at the Assistant Labour Commissioner’s Building in Purana Bazar, Dimapur, the drive sought to bridge the gap between unemployed youth with disabilities and prospective employers.
More than 35 candidates attended the session, including several alumni from the centre. By the end of the day, the employer selected 12 individuals for further consideration. Officials described the event as a success, noting that participants viewed the opportunity as a significant path toward personal advancement. According to a DIPR report, the candidates expressed motivation and happiness, calling the drive a "step towards upliftment and empowerment."
