Dimapur Municipal Council Orders Allottees to Collect Assessment Reports

Kohima: The Dimapur Municipal Council wants its tenants in the office now. Officials issued a sharp notice today demanding that allottees pick up their long-overdue assessment reports. The documents are waiting at the Development Branch during regular business hours.

The order covers several high-traffic sites across the city. Affected properties include the first and second floors of New Market Western Side, spanning blocks A, B, and C in Chawal Bazar. It also hits tenants at Hazi Park Pond and those occupying space above the New Market car parking. The mandate extends to the old municipal compound, specifically the ground floor Chai Sutta bar line plus the second and third floors near the front gate.

Council leaders are pushing for a quick turnaround to prevent any administrative backlog. The notice clearly stated that allottees must "collect their reports promptly to avoid inconvenience." Missing these reports could stall future operations for both the council and its renters.
