Dapfhütsumia Peli Union hosts community social work

Kohima: The Dapfhütsumia Peli Union held a community social work event this past Saturday. Led by the union's newly elected president, Ruokuolhoulie Kire, the initiative saw participation from 12 different peer groups, known as Peli.

Approximately 350 members took part in the effort to improve local infrastructure. The volunteers focused on clearing drains and cleaning roads located alongside community fields. Following the manual labor, the event concluded with words of encouragement and guidance from community elders.
