NSCN-K Alleges Civilian Injuries in Langkho Drone Strike

Kohima: A nine-year-old girl and another civilian suffered serious injuries during a drone attack in Langkho village. The strike hit the Eastern Konyak Region in the early hours of Saturday. The NSCN-K (Yung Aung) group blamed the Indian occupational army for the incident.

The organization issued a sharp condemnation via its MIP. They called the strike "cowardly and indiscriminate." The group argues the military targeted people uninvolved in the armed conflict. They claim the assault signifies an escalation rooted in battlefield frustration.

The NSCN-K (YA) urged the United Nations and global observers to intervene. "The world must not remain silent when innocent public and children become victims of armed conflict," the statement said. The group officially labeled the event a crime against humanity and a violation of international law.

Tensions flared following the blast. The group issued a blunt warning to local Naga proxy groups and individuals suspected of aiding Indian agencies. They accused these parties of betraying their own blood and vowed to hold them accountable for providing logistical support and intelligence. No independent sources have verified these claims.
