Shillong: Shillong Medical College-Civil Hospital officials are looking for the family of a 51-year-old man. He died last week. The man, Pradeep Das, lived in Lachaumiere.
MIMHANS referred Das to the hospital. He arrived on September 19 and stayed in the Male Medical Ward. Nobody visited him while he was there. The patient died on October 23 at 10:35 PM.
The Joint Director of Health Services (SS) issued a formal notice regarding the case. "Relatives or acquaintances have been requested to identify and claim the body from the hospital morgue within three days from the date of issue of the notice," the official stated.
