Assam TET 2026: Exam Date Set for June 28 with Admit Cards Releasing Soon

Guwahati: The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has scheduled the Special Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for Lower Primary and Upper Primary levels on June 28, 2026. This assessment targets candidates from Bodo, Garo, Manipuri, and Hmar mediums. Participants can access their admit cards starting at 11:00 AM on June 12 by logging into the official SEBA website with their application number and password.

Candidates must present a printed admit card alongside a government-issued photo ID, such as a PAN card, Aadhaar, driving licence, or voter ID, to enter the testing site. Individuals under the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities category must provide appropriate certification from the District Commissioner or another competent authority. Officials advise these candidates to organize their paperwork early.

Strict security measures are in place, and a wide array of items are banned from the hall. Prohibited goods include mobile phones, smart watches, Bluetooth devices, and calculators. The board stated, "Officials have clarified that no facility will be available at examination centres for the safekeeping of prohibited items."

Examinees may bring only essential items, including a blue or black ballpoint pen, pencil, eraser, transparent water bottle, and limited personal effects like cash or bank cards.
