Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh headmistress Yaku Tame secured the 2026 National Teachers Award. She leads the Government Secondary School in the G-Sector of Naharlagun. This recognition highlights her commitment to school education and student welfare.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu celebrated the news. He praised the educator for bringing this honor home. Khandu stated, "Arunachal Pradesh had once again produced a recipient of the prestigious national honour and described Tame's selection as a matter of pride for the state."
