Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein is cheering Prime Minister Narendra Modi for securing a diplomatic breakthrough at the 18th BRICS summit. The event took place in New Delhi on September 12 and 13. It drew global attention. Member nations focused on resilience, innovation, cooperation, and sustainability during the talks.
The summit marked two decades of the BRICS grouping. It now includes 10 member countries. Mein claims the result proves India wields serious influence on the world stage. He insists the Prime Minister managed to unite nations with competing interests despite major geopolitical tension.
"A moment of immense pride for every Indian as leading newspapers across the world recognise the stellar leadership" of Modi, Mein wrote on X. He believes this global recognition shows the trust other countries have in India. He says the nation is now better positioned to push for a balanced and cooperative global order.
