Itanagar: Army Public School Tenga Valley is hunting for new staff. The school needs teachers for the 2026 academic year. They have three TGT slots, three PRT slots, and one Balvatika position open.
TGT candidates need a four-year integrated degree or a bachelor's degree plus a B.Ed. Applicants must have 50 percent marks and a pass in the CTET or state TET. Science TGTs need two subjects from botany, zoology, chemistry, or physics. Social science teachers need history or geography plus one other subject from the group. Hindi teachers must have studied the subject for all three years of their degree. All TGTs must show proficiency in English.
PRT applicants also need a bachelor's degree with 50 percent marks. They require a B.El.Ed or a two-year D.El.Ed. If those are unavailable, the school accepts B.Ed holders who commit to a six-month bridge course. Balvatika teachers need a graduation degree and a nursery teacher diploma or B.Ed in nursery education.
