Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Governor K.T. Parnaik pushed students to master self-discipline and communication at a state-level youth leadership camp in Balijan. The event, held in Papum Pare district, kicked off on October 22 at the Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya. It draws in 145 students from schools managed by the Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Arunachal Pradesh Trust. The four-day program carries the title Spread Your Wings.

Parnaik told the students that effective leaders must speak clearly and think critically. He demanded that participants make reading and writing daily habits to sharpen their minds. The governor advised the attendees to keep their cool during high-pressure moments. A calm disposition, confident body language and thoughtful responses help build trust, especially when faced with difficult circumstances, he said.

The governor mapped out a blueprint for future leaders. He wants students to boost their analytical skills to predict and defeat obstacles. Parnaik demanded that these youth prioritize service and collective welfare over the hunt for personal status. He defined true leadership through courage, commitment, and integrity. By pushing students to mix passion with hard discipline, he hopes they will act as a force for good in both the state and the nation. The camp, themed Love India, aims to help students channel their energy into serving the country.
