Arunachal Governor Parnaik Challenges Youth to Revamp Governance

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Governor K.T. Parnaik demanded the younger generation take charge of nation-building. He spoke on July 19 at a national seminar. Parnaik wants youth to lean on India's deep civilizational legacy to fix public institutions. He insists these young leaders act as the primary engines for societal change.

The Governor specifically called on participants to channel their innovation toward strengthening governance. "Young people must carry forward India's enduring tradition of knowledge and wisdom while contributing actively towards the creation of a prosperous and progressive nation," Parnaik said. The event aimed to bridge the gap between historical heritage and modern development.

The three-day conclave started on July 17. The Bharatiya Itihas Sankalan Samiti, Assam, and the Akhil Bharatiya Itihas Sankalan Yojana, New Delhi, hosted the gathering. Scholars, researchers, and academics from across the country met to debate how past cultural lessons apply to current national growth.
