Kohima: A delegation from Akashvani Kohima, led by Head of Programme Ella Kayina, visited Deputy Commissioner B. Henok Buchem at his office on June 17. The courtesy visit focused on strengthening the partnership between the local station and the district administration.
The team expressed their gratitude for the ongoing support the administration has provided to the station. During the meeting, officials discussed collaborative efforts to improve public awareness regarding the upcoming Census 2027, as well as essential updates on monsoon preparedness and disaster management strategies.
According to a DIPR report, the interaction underscored the importance of close coordination between the administration and media in promoting public awareness and ensuring effective dissemination of information on matters of public interest.
