Aizawl: The Aizawl Municipal Corporation (AMC) ordered all street and mobile vendors to register by December 18. This move follows a board decision to regulate vending zones across the city. The registration covers vendors running temporary shops and those moving from place to place to peddle their goods.
Vendors must drop off their applications at the AMC office in Thuampui. Forms are available on the official website. The civic body will scrutinize each submission before issuing any licenses. The AMC stated, "The registration exercise is part of the civic body's efforts to regulate street vending and streamline vending activities within Aizawl city."
