Aizawl: Mizoram will host the North East Bankers’ Conclave 3.0 on October 13. Union Minister for Development of North Eastern Region Jyotiraditya Scindia plans to attend the summit. State Chief Secretary Khilli Ram Meena chaired a planning meeting on Wednesday to finalize logistics.

The event draws big names. Chief secretaries from northeastern states will gather alongside Reserve Bank of India officials and bank representatives. The state is prepping for the influx of dignitaries. They are sorting out security, housing, and transportation for visitors coming from out of state.

Scindia has a busy itinerary. He will lay foundation stones for five development projects. He plans to inaugurate five finished projects as well. Local officials, including the DGP, Aizawl Deputy Commissioner, and the state protocol officer, joined the meeting to coordinate these visits. Representatives from Mizoram University and NEDFi were also there to weigh in on the proceedings. Everything is moving forward.
