Shillong: The Advocacy Reform Movement (ARM) stood up its central body this past Saturday in Jowai. This official launch marks the start of the organization’s active work. Fifty leaders now fill the ranks of the executive committee and office-bearer team.
The group operates with a focus on the Seven Huts and Seven Clans society. They want progress. Their mandate includes safeguarding local rights and extending a hand to the vulnerable. Education sits at the top of their agenda. The leadership plans to fight for fair recruitment opportunities for qualified students.
Transparency is their promise. ARM leaders stated, "The movement is committed to serving the community with transparency and dedication to ensure social progress." This group aims to push the community forward through its collective influence.
