Guwahati: Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Raksha Khadse visited the Khelo India State Centre of Excellence and the High Performance Centre in Guwahati on Sunday. During her tour, she inspected the training grounds and reaffirmed the central government's dedication to building high-quality sports infrastructure throughout the country.
Khadse met with athletes, coaches, and sports science professionals to discuss training methods and the resources needed to help competitors reach their full potential. She encouraged all sportspersons to remain committed to their training, noting that discipline and perseverance are essential for achieving success in their fields.
The minister highlighted the vital contributions of coaches and support staff in cultivating raw talent. She stated that providing world-class facilities remains a top priority for the government as it works to create a robust and sustainable sporting ecosystem for young athletes across India.
