Shillong: The Tura Motor Sports Club dropped the schedule for its two big events at a press conference in Cariz, Bonepa, on Friday. Moto X 2026 hits the dirt at Dodenanggre on October 30 and 31. This year adds a Kids’ Category to the existing Beginners, Novice, Expert, and 2-Stroke Open classes.
The club keeps the action going with Bilgaro-XI. That four-wheeler off-road race runs November 12 to 14 at the same Dodenanggre location. TMSC intends to grow adventure tourism and boost local shops with these races. Club officials confirmed they are working with the district administration and police to lock down all safety arrangements.
During the event, leadership honored rally driver Aneesh M. Sangma. He took fifth place in the Overall Extreme Category and won the T1 PCCV 4WD Class X3 at the Rally of Himalayas 2026. The group offered praise for its partners, stating, "The club thanked Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma, the Department of Tourism, sponsors, supporting departments and volunteers for their continued support."
