Tripura University showcases sustainable fibre research at national textile event

Agartala: Tripura University gained national recognition this week after presenting its latest research at the New Age Fibre demonstration programme in New Delhi. Held on May 19, the event was coordinated by the Ministry of Textiles and the National Jute Board to spotlight advancements in sustainable fibre technology.

As the only university invited to the event, the institution shared the stage with major textile research institutes and industrial organizations. The university showcased its ongoing commitment to eco-friendly innovations and engaged with industry leaders to discuss the future of the sector.
