Agartala: The Tripura government pulled the plug on all scheduled official programs for Chief Minister Manik Saha today. The state administration issued the order to align with the national period of mourning. The move follows the death of the former Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani's father.

India declared a day of state mourning to honor the leader. All government buildings across the country flew the national flag at half-mast. Local officials confirmed the cancellations late yesterday. One government spokesperson stated, "The CM's programme has been cancelled as the nation mourns the former Emir of Qatar."

Regular administrative duties remain unaffected. State offices continue to operate under standard hours despite the ceremonial pause. Authorities expect to reschedule the affected events once the mourning period concludes.
