Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha officially launched the Samriddhi Campaign 2.0 at Agartala's Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan, highlighting the pivotal role of women-led Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in the state's economic development. Under the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission, approximately 4.95 lakh women across 55,569 SHGs are now driving grassroots progress and achieving financial independence.

During the event, Dr. Saha credited the success of these initiatives to targeted welfare schemes aligned with the national vision of women's empowerment. He noted that this surge in income-generating activity has significantly bolstered household economies, contributing to Tripura achieving the second-highest Gross State Domestic Product growth rate among northeastern states.
