Agartala: Tripura Minister Sushanta Chowdhury inaugurated the new Ranirbazar Revenue Circle office building on Wednesday. The site sits within the Jirania Sub-Division. This project aims to fix outdated infrastructure and streamline public service access.
The Minister spoke to a crowd at the event. He noted that past government offices lacked decent working conditions. "The facility is not merely an administrative structure but a symbol of the government's commitment to delivering faster, easier, and more effective public services at the doorstep of the people," Chowdhury said. He expects the upgrade to boost transparency and administrative speed.
Chowdhury handed out 130 work orders for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana 2.0 program. These orders support new home construction. Each beneficiary gets 2.5 lakh rupees in aid. Six Self-Help Groups also received loans totaling 37.30 lakh rupees to kickstart local business ventures. The event concluded with the distribution of welfare benefits to local fishermen to help the state fisheries sector.
