Regional Ayurveda Research Centre in Dimapur Announces Yoga Therapist Opening

Kohima: The Regional Ayurveda Research Centre (RARC) in Dimapur, Nagaland, has officially opened recruitment for one Yoga Therapist position for the year 2026. This role offers a consolidated monthly salary of Rs 38,000.

To qualify, applicants must hold a degree in Yoga or Yoga and Naturopathy with at least 55 percent marks, complemented by two years of professional experience. Alternatively, candidates with a recognized graduate degree and a one-year diploma in Yoga can apply if they possess five years of practical experience at a reputable institution or hospital. Applicants must also hold a Level II Therapy level certificate from the Yoga Certification Board (YCB).

The center values additional expertise, including post-graduate qualifications in Yoga, research experience, computer literacy, and proficiency in Hindi, English, and Sanskrit. As part of the hiring process, the institution will evaluate candidates on their practical capabilities, as "demonstration skills in Yogic practices for which skill test will be conducted" are required.

Interested candidates should attend a walk-in interview scheduled for 10 AM on June 17, 2026. The selection process will take place at the Regional Ayurveda Research Centre, located on the first floor of the DTL Building, opposite the CMO Building in the District Hospital Colony of Dimapur. Applicants must arrive with their bio-data, recent passport-sized photographs, and self-attested copies of their original certificates.
