Kohima: Medical Kilonser Hukato Yeptho fired back at reports regarding his suspension from the Federal Government of Nagaland. He claims an August 1 news report contained false allegations aimed at his reputation. Yeptho says he issued this statement to set the record straight.
The official blamed Litsaba Sangtam for the trouble. He alleges Sangtam wants his portfolio for personal gain. Yeptho accused Sangtam of abusing the trust of Kedahge Brig. (Retd.) S. Singnya. He says the man is pulling a double shift. Sangtam allegedly works for the state government while holding his national post. His spouse also works for the state.
Yeptho claims this dual employment creates a conflict of interest. He argues that the NNC/FGN cannot let state employees sabotage the movement. The internal rift is getting ugly. Yeptho alleges that Sangtam is pushing a narrative that pits Eastern Nagas against Western Nagas to sow discord. This move has caused deep suspicion within the group.
The accused Kilonser maintains he has served the movement for 19 years with total loyalty. He issued his demand for accountability from Oking on August 3, 2026. He wants the leadership to remove those putting their own interests ahead of the Naga cause.
