Guwahati: Assam Police successfully rescued four minor girls who went missing from the Basistha area of Guwahati. The students of Beltola Majhipara Middle English School were located in Howrah, West Bengal, less than 24 hours after their families reported them missing on June 1.

The girls, who reside in the Basistha-Beharbari locality, failed to return home after leaving for school that morning. Their parents contacted the Basistha Police, who immediately launched an investigation into the disappearances. This rapid response allowed authorities to track the children and ensure their safe recovery within a single day.

While police officials confirmed the girls are safe, they have not yet disclosed the specific circumstances surrounding how the minors traveled to another state. Authorities stated that additional details regarding the case will be provided as the ongoing investigation develops.
