Pastor Liba Hopeson Releases New Book in Kohima

Kohima: Rev. Dr. Mar Pongener, General Secretary of the Nagaland Baptist Church Council, released a new book titled Thinking Through the Times this Sunday. The event took place at the Poumai Baptist Church in Kohima. Author Liba Hopeson wrote the work. Crown Publishing produced the volume.

The book gathers 52 articles written over two years. These pieces previously appeared in the Eastern Mirror, The Morung Express, Nagaland Post, Hills Hornbill Express, and the Times of Senapati. It covers social, cultural, educational, economic, and spiritual topics. Hopeson previously wrote titles like Exploring for a Better World, Igniting the Christian Mind, Facets of Life, Theology of Work, and 50 Commonly Misinterpreted Bible Verses from the New Testament.

Pongener praised the author during the ceremony. He noted the difficulty of turning ideas into a finished book. He said, "writing a book required wisdom, sacrifice, family support and financial resources." The pastor expects the text to benefit families and churches across the region.

Hopeson thanked his supporters during the launch. He hopes the compilation pushes readers toward critical thinking and purposeful living. The author wants people to look beyond narrow boundaries through these practical reflections.
