Kohima: Okusa Toyota hosted the Toyota Anime Matsuri festival at its showroom on New Secretariat Road in Kohima on June 5. The event featured screenings of popular anime titles including Attack on Titan and 100 Meters, alongside merchandise booths and interactive lucky draws. This initiative is part of a broader strategy by Toyota and its dealership partner to build youth-centric platforms and foster community connections through entertainment.

The festival attracted various stakeholders, including government representatives, Toyota Kirloskar Motor leadership, and partners from organizations like Mela Mela Japan. Beyond the screenings, the event offered attendees special incentives for Anime Times subscriptions.

Abu Metha, Advisor to the Chief Minister of Nagaland and Chairman of the Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland, attended the event as a special guest. He praised the brand's commitment to the region, noting its involvement in the Hornbill Festival and support for local sports and music. During his address, he remarked, "Toyota in Nagaland is not just about selling cars, but they have become part of the larger Naga family."

Metha highlighted that anime has grown into a global phenomenon that promotes values such as perseverance and discipline. He encouraged further collaboration between Japanese partners and Nagaland youth to foster mutual growth, adding that the state has much to learn from Japanese precision and dedication.
