NPF Delivers Cash Aid to Zunheboto Landslide Victims

Kohima: Naga People's Front leaders from the 35 A/C Zunheboto constituency toured disaster zones on Monday. They visited Khuwuboto, North Point, Alahuto, and Amiphoto colonies to assess the damage. Landslides smashed homes and blocked roads across town. No one died.

The team handed out cash to help families cover immediate needs. Officials ordered the dismantling of homes in Khuwuboto and North Point to stop them from falling. Alahuto Colony took the hardest hit, losing a string of houses and personal property. Movement remains difficult across the area.

Party leaders demanded the government send relief fast. They pledged to stand by the residents through the recovery. As the NPF stated, they are "assuring them of the party's support during the difficult period."
